Cleaning and maintenance of Quick-Step Laminate Flooring

admin  |

The frequent cleaning routine of a Quick-Step Laminate Flooring includes removal of dust and loose dirt. The same can be done by using a dry Microfiber mop.

With the proper cleaning kit, people can clean, dry as well as damp. In the case of cleaning dry, the microfibre tissue will remove and collect all dirt in an effective manner. For more intensive cleaning, people can also clean slightly moist. For damp cleaning, they can moisten the microfibre tissue with water with the recommended concentration of adequate cleaning products. Alternatively, people can also use a well-wrung floor cloth.

In order to clean the floors that have beveled edges, or V-grooves, it is recommended to clean dry only. This is because moist cleaning may lead to dirt accumulation in the beveled grooves which may prove to be difficult to remove. For the same reason, people should always go for vacuuming the floor first or cleaning it with a dry microfibre tissue. If necessary, a damp mop can be used to it. To finish the cleaning, people should always use a dry microfibre tissue.

Quick-Step laminate floorings are much more resistant to wear as well as scratches. They are perfectly suitable for playing children. As these floors are made after years of research and investments in surface layer durability, they have a Scratch Guard treatment. This ensures that these floors show up to ten times more scratch-resistant to micro-scratches than the floors without any Scratch Guard. Deeper scratches caused by dust, sand or grit stuck under shoes can still occur. A doormat must be used for preventing the introduction of debris, dust, and sand.

For preventing scratching of the floor, soft castors under mobile furniture like office chairs, seats, and sofas can be sued. Use of appropriate protection under the furniture feet also helps in preventing scratches on the floor. Quick-Step Laminate flooring is designed in a way to provide a lifetime of living and playing. It is not necessary to provide the floor with special maintenance. To go for frequent cleaning with an appropriate cleaning mop and maintenance products can keep the floor nice and clean.

A greasy layer may also build up on the floor surface in case the floor is intensively used, in case people frequently walk around on the socks, in case children are regularly playing or crawling around on the floor, or in case people have pets. But such layers can also be easily removed using an appropriate cleaning product with water.
